Print Articles are articles from magazines, journals, newspapers or other periodicals that have been published in a paper format and can be read and physically accessed in person. They may be found on the shelves at the library, at a bookstore, or from home. A photocopy of a published-in-paper article is cited as a Print article.
Electronic or Online Articles are articles that are accessed online through library subscription databases or through the web-based publications.
Both print and electronic articles require that you gather information about the article that will enable someone else to find that article on their own. This includes author name, title of the article, title of the publication, date, page numbers, and other details. Select the type of article you are citing from the dropdown menu on the yellow tab above.
