CSM Library Building & CSM Campus Closed

  • The College of San Mateo Library building is closed and there is no staff on campus. The CSM Library building will remain closed for the Fall 2020 semester
  • Please do not attempt to visit the CSM Library or CSM campus.

Chat Services & Library Help

The CSM Library is open online during the Fall for reference help and instruction. Connect with the CSM Library by chat, text, or email during the library's open hours:

  • Monday - Thursday: 7:45am-7pm
  • Fridays: 7:45am-3pm
  • Saturdays: 10am-2pm
  • Closed Sundays and holidays

Circulation Services & Curbside Pick-Up

If you are a CSM student who needs technology please complete the Student Technology Request form.

The CSM Library no longer imposes fines. If you have materials out the due date has been extended to the end of the year and will continue to be extended until the physical library is reopened.

The CSM Library is providing curbside pick-up for CSM Library items for Fall 2020, including course reserve items. You must reserve your items online and schedule an appointment to pick-up from the CSM campus. Visit our Curbside Guide for more details and get started.

If you have questions or concerns about items you have borrowed, previous fees for lost or overdue items, or other questions about your library record you can contact the CSM Circulation department via email at csmcirc@smccd.edu.
