Below are examples of various AI tools that let you create and/or detect AI-created text and images. Keep in mind that these are only a few examples of AI tools currently available. As the field keeps evolving, we are sure to see even more AI tools.

AI tools for text

These tools make use of machine learning and natural language processing to generate human-like responses to requests or questions

ChatGPT
Probably the most recognized generative AI tool out there right now. Developed by OpenAI, ChatGPT interacts with users in a conversational way. ChatGPT can answer follow-up questions, admit its mistakes, challenge incorrect premises, and reject inappropriate requests.
Perplexity
An AI-powered search engine designed to provide users with concise, accurate answers to their queries by leveraging large language models (LLMs). Unlike traditional search engines that present a list of links, Perplexity delivers synthesized information in a natural language format, complete with citations and follow-up suggestions for more refined searches
Gemini AI
Gemini AI (previously Bard) is a conversational AI chat tool developed by Google that can analyze and generate both text and images.
Copilot
Microsoft has combined its search engine with the underlying technology for ChatGPT, offering free access to OpenAI's more sophisticated GPT-4 underlying model.

DALL-E 2
DALL·E 2 is an advanced AI-powered image generation system developed by OpenAI that can create realistic images and art from a description in natural language.
Freepik
Makes use of Flux, a suite developed by Black Forest Labs, which uses advanced text-to-image models to generate high-quality images accessible to everyone, from beginners to seasoned professionals
Stable Artisan
An open source image generator developed by Stability AI. The software has a significant community of individuals around it generating images, compiling datasets for personal use and otherwise exploring the limits of the software.
Craiyon
A free AI image generator – previously known as DALL·E mini – that includes upgraded features, such as no watermark, on a subscription basis.
Midjourney
Midjourney is an mage generator that allows users to transform single words, phrases, or sentences into photo-realistic images.
