This guide will outline the process on how to request library items and schedule a curbside pickup once ready.

How to Return Items

Scheduling Returns

All users need to schedule an appointment to return their items. There are will also be designated ‘Return Days’ at the end of the semester. 

Keep in mind that the CSM campus remains closed and is only accessible to those with a scheduled appointment. When scheduling your return appointment please read through the policies carefully regarding campus access.

  • Please DO NOT come to campus to return items without an appointment
  • PLS items must be returned at PLS locations at this time.


Returning Library & Technology Items


CSM Library and CSM technology items checked out from the CSM campus can be returned to any SMCCD campus with an appointment:

Returning Bookstore Items

CSM bookstore items must be returned to the CSM campus; all bookstore items must be returned to the college where it was originally checked out:

End of Semester Returns Days

When returning items to any campus you need to schedule an appointment. College of San Mateo has several return days this at the end of the semester where there are extended appointment hours. Return days for Spring 2021 are:
