Poster Session

Some common software you can use to design all or part of your poster include:

          Visio

          InDesign

          Adobe Illustrator

          Photoshop

          Microsoft Word (poster template)

There are many places you can get images for your posters. CSM Library has put together the “Resource Guide to Free & Copyright-friendly Images Online” that provides the following list.

  Portal to several sources for copyright-friendly images including Flickr, Fotopedia, Google Images, and Pixabay.
• Flickr Creative Commons

  Large selection of images and illustrations, each available in several different sizes/resolutions.
• WikiMedia Commons

  Good source for images, especially related to the sciences.
• Google Images Search

• MorgueFile

  Public domain, high resolution images on various topics.
• Photoree

  Portal for searching images and an image recommendation engine.
• U.S. Gov't Photos & Images
