The CSM Syllabus Hub

A centralized place for syllabi-related needs

Decorative Banner CSM Syllabus LabThe Syllabus Hub offers a centralized place to review requirements, expectations, and important considerations around course syllabi at College of San Mateo. Led by the initiative of CSM Academic Senate, the Hub was developed in spring 2025 by the instructional design team. The resources and information presented in this site were significantly informed by the CSM Faculty Handbookthe Cañada College syllabus guide (developed by Allison Hughes, Instructional Designer), and the Skyline College syllabus checklist (developed by Andrea Fuentes and Bianca Rowden-Quince, Instructional Designers). For additional references and sources, please review the 'Additional Resources' tab on the left navigation menu.

How to Navigate this Site

The Syllabus Hub includes a combination of theoretical and hands-on resources to help address multiple syllabi-related needs. Click through the tabs on the left navigation menu to peruse each of the sections in this site. We recommend taking time to peruse the sections that seem most relevant to your own needs or interests.

Please note that this site will continue to evolve as we integrate new resources, templates, and examples. We encourage you to come back periodically to explore new additions as they become available.

Note: You are currently navigating version 1.0 of the Syllabus Hub. This version was released in spring 2025 and approved by CSM Academic Senate on [DATE].
