Educational equity, or equity in education, is a measure of achievement, fairness, and opportunity in education. Equity issues in primary, secondary and higher education schools relate to closing fairness and achievement gaps with regard to race, sex, social class, LGBTIQA+ groups, English language learners, immigrants, and all disenfranchised populations.
