SMCCCD OneSearch - User's Guide

OneSearch is designed to provide a comprehensive search of each SMCCCD college's print and online collections. Search results will appear in categories based on source and content type. You can see what articles, books, and databases we have available and get immediate access to full-text journal, magazine, and newspaper articles. This search provides access to much more content and format types and new content is added daily.

Each college has a separate search portal, branded with its own colors, and featuring content for the campus as well as the three colleges.

OneSearch also helps you manage your research. Sign-in in order to:

• Renew books and videos
• Create favorites lists
• View full search results. (Some databases, only show results when you're signed in.)

Who can login to access account features?

• Any current SMCCCD student or employee at any of the three colleges or the District office--you will automatically have an account created for you--login with your campus credentials
• Any community member (resident of County of San Mateo, or other member of Peninsula Library System) who has registered for a OneSearch account--login with your OneSearch account credentials
