The technology loan program supports currently enrolled students who need technology equipment such as Chromebooks, hotspots, and calculators to successfully complete course work. Technology equipment is limited, and will be distributed on a first come first served basis.
Most technology equipment borrowed from one of the campuses will be recorded in your Library OneSearch user account--there are exceptions for items borrowed from a specific department or program. Sign in to your OneSearch account to monitor the status of your borrowed items.

Help us help other students! Technology equipment supplies are limited, please schedule a return appointment as soon as you no longer need the technology equipment for classes. Technology equipment may be returned at any campus location.
On accepting equipment from the college or district, you agree to the technology loan agreement posted below.
The loan of District technology is limited to currently enrolled students of the San Mateo Community College District which comprises Cañada College, Skyline College and College of San Mateo.
By accepting this equipment, the student agrees to keep the borrowed property and accessories safe, secured, and protected from potential sources of damage or theft. The user further assumes the financial risk of loss by theft, destruction, or damage to any technology and/or accessories.
The user further agrees to report any damage to the equipment immediately to your respective library personnel. Library contact during campus closures can be found on the library websites--there are options for chat, email, etc.:
The user further agrees to return all borrowed equipment promptly upon request. You will be notified of any specific time and location of the return at a later date.
Do not leave your technology device unattended. You will be held responsible for the loss, theft, or damage.
All fees and charges will be attached to the student billing or library account.
Charges will be assessed based on the actual repair or replacement cost.
