Get Help from CSM's Library Tech Desk

The CSM Library's technology support staff is online and available to chat with your about various technology-related problems. The library tech desk is staffed the following days and times (holidays excluded):

Monday-Thursday: 3pm-7pm

Our library tech can help you with issues related to SMCCD district technology that you have checked out including district laptops and Chromebooks, and their accompanying software. When the CSM Library Tech is offline you can contact the CSM Librarians for technology assistance.

We are not able to provide troubleshooting assistance on personally owned technology.

What we can help with:

  • Troubleshooting SMCCD borrowed computers
  • Using Google programs
  • Help with browsers and some software on SMCCD borrowed computers

What we can’t help with:

  • Hardware/ software set-up and troubleshooting on a personal computer
  • Virus software
  • Other issues with your personal computer
